Phoebe is a flood risk consultant who has specialised in sustainable drainage, providing technical support to both Lead Local Flood Authorities (LLFAs) and SuDS Approval Bodies (SABs).
Phoebe joined WSP as a graduate where she developed her skills working on large multi-disciplinary schemes writing Flood Risk Assessments and developing surface water management strategies for large development sites. During her time at WSP, she was also seconded into Cardiff Council SAB where she gained a sound understanding of the role of the SAB and the requirements for surface water drainage in Wales. She supported Cardiff Council on internal council schemes, as well reviewing SAB applications from private developers.
Phoebe now works at PJA where she continues to work on private sector development, championing holistic SuDS designs to ensure long term resilience of new developments. She also continues to support a number of LLFAs across the Midlands, providing statutory responses to LPAs as well as reviewing and inputting into surface water drainage guidance and policy documents.
