Richard is a chartered architect with over 25 years’ post-qualification experience of designing new and refurbished award-winning buildings, with particular expertise in cultural and education projects. He is co-founder and partner at Urban Fabric Architects, and teaches architecture at University of Nottingham. He designed the Academy of St Francis of Assisi in Liverpool, which was described by the Independent newspaper as ‘Britain’s Greenest School’ and Perthcelyn Community Primary School which was long-listed for the Stirling Prize.
