Lisa Richards

Lisa has worked in both public and private sector before setting up as a freelance consultant in 2019.

During her 25 year career in urban design, Lisa has promoted better place making and raising design quality standards through her work, advising on planning submissions, redevelopment schemes and masterplans as well as delivering development on the ground using approved frameworks and design codes. 

Lisa has also lectured on Urban Design to public sector organisations and local schools, as well as being previously involved in design review through Urban Vision formerly based in Staffordshire. More recently she has appeared on BBC 2 television’s cutting edge property programme “Your Home Made Perfect” to create her own workspace to the rear of her house.

Her personal interests include developing and promoting health and wellbeing in all aspects of her personal and professional life as well as the wider environment generally.
