Justin is a planner, urban designer and building conservation specialist. Having previously worked as a planner with particular focus on urban design and policy, he is currently Senior Building Conservation Officer at Leicester City Council. The Chair of the Royal Town Planning Institute Urban Design Network, he helps comment at a strategic level on policy development relating to urban design and is involved in helping arrange and speak at a range of national and regional events on this topic. A member of the Advisory Board of the Centre for Urban History, he has helped teach on regeneration, urban design and heritage at UCL and the University of Leicester. Project Manager for the Greyfriars Townscape Heritage and coordinator of the Leicester Conservation Advisory Panel and Heritage Partnership, he works with a wide range of partners on delivering heritage led regeneration in the East Midlands.
