Dr. Ally Lu

BA in Landscape Architecture and MA in Heritage Conservation from Taiwan. PhD in Cultural Landscape Conservation from the University of Manchester, UK. Academic member of Landscape Institute, UK.

Ally teaches heritage planning and urban design at the University of Sheffield, and has previously guest lectured in Taiwan, the Netherlands and France. She was a judge for the international student project competition of the Landscape Institute, and a panel member of local listing for South Yorkshire. Ally’s research projects focus on urban landscape history and industrial cultural landscape conservation. These include working with communities for sustainable planning for their heritage landscape.
