The objective is to provide recommendations through a collaborative discussion that highlights the potential of the street and its vicinity to put people first, prioritise active travel, slow and/or reduce traffic and generally improve health and wellbeing. A panel will be appointed that will include Highways, Active Travel, Urban Design and Landscape/Public Realm. Following a site visit, a workshop will be undertaken and a report provided. We will invite key stakeholders suggested by the Highways and Local Planning Authorities to take part.

Two pilots will be chosen, one on Reshaping the High Street and one with infrastructure related to housing growth.  

Design Midlands will fund the Review, although we will benefit from a meeting venue being provided please. Please send through an Expression of Interest, in no more than 500 words in confidence, with your name, organisation, email and telephone number to Dharmista@designmidlands.org providing the following information:

• A site plan showing where the street/s is located.
• Issues relating to the street or area that need addressing.
• Participants you would like to attend.
• The outcomes you would like to see emerge from the review.

The deadline for Expressions of Interest is midday 3^rd March 2023, with delivery aimed at end March/April/May.
