Design Midlands is delighted to announce that its new base in Birmingham will be the EH Smith Design Centre in Digbeth. The Digbeth Design Centre is a national centre for materials used in construction. Design Midlands is an independent, impartial resource providing design support for housebuilders, local authorities and design professionals. The move allows Design Midlands to have a greater presence in Birmingham and an events space in the Midlands.
Design Midlands is part of the Design Network, whose aim is to raise design standards and improve the quality of the built and natural environment across the UK.
Jayne Bradley-Ghosh, Design Manager at Design Midlands said: “Our presence at the Digbeth Design Centre allows us to network more easily with colleagues in Birmingham and across the Midlands – we will soon be announcing a series of in-person events at this historic building which explores emerging themes for the built environment in the Midlands region.”
EH Smith Architectural Solutions opened the Digbeth Design Centre in October 2025 and Design Midlands is very excited to have a presence there.
